Do I have to leave my camera on / Will I need to put my Zoom on mute?

No. We want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible. If having your camera turned off will help, please feel free to do that. We ask that you keep your microphones on mute during the session unless you are speaking.

How many tickets should we book?

Please make one booking per household. Multiple people can attend the session using one device.

What time does it start and end?

This is an online event that will happen on Zoom. You will need to book a space via Eventbrite. Closer to the time, you will receive a link for the event. An email will be sent from your Parent Carer Forum a few hours before the event which will include the link again.

Who will be present?

The event is being hosted by the three Parent Carer Forums (Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire). Representatives of all three forums will be present.

What will happen in the session?

We will start with a presentation from the Parent Carer Forums outlining some general housekeeping rules and introducing the event. This will be followed by presentations from Sirona and the Integrated Care Board who will talk about the Neurodiversity Pathway Project and the Portsmouth Profiling.

What to do if I have a question or feedback to provide after the event?

We will send out a survey link after the event which will enable you to provide any feedback or questions.

We know that discussions around SEND can be difficult, and so there will be Peer Supporters present on the day to provide support and signposting after the presentations have concluded. Alternatively, visit our website for more information:

If you need to take a break away from the session at any point, please do so as needed. We understand that for some, it will be necessary to continue with their caring role, and  therefore you may need to step away from your computer/device at times or may need to support your child.
