Online Harms
Overview
For all staff and volunteers working with children and families in Islington, Haringey, Enfield, Camden and Barnet.
In today’s fast‑moving digital world, the online spaces children and families navigate are richer with opportunity than ever before, yet more complex and challenging too. As professionals supporting children, young people, and those who care for them, our role in promoting safe, confident, and responsible digital engagement has never been more vital.
Each year, Safer Internet Day taking place on 10 February 2026, shines a global spotlight on how we can create a better and safer online environment. But safeguarding is not a one‑day event. That’s why this suite of online safety courses alongside each partnerships offer has been designed to support your learning both before and after Safer Internet Day, giving you the time and space to deepen your knowledge, reflect on your practice, and stay ahead of emerging risks.
Across these courses, you’ll explore the latest trends shaping children’s online experiences, understand the digital risks families face, and strengthen your ability to identify concerns, respond effectively, and empower others. Whether you work in education, police, health, social care, youth services, or any role supporting children, these sessions will equip you with practical insights, real‑world examples, and up‑to‑date strategies to help keep the communities you serve safe online.
