An online Indian Vegetarian Cooking class where you use spices, cook lentils and rice perfectly and create stunning vegetarian curries

About this Event

With so many of us wanting to eat more vegetarian food these days, Indian cookery provides the perfect answer- varied, easy to prepare and delicious, it also addresses the need for a balance of protein, carbohydrate and fibre. In this class, you learn how to create tasty vegetarian dishes that can be a complete meal in themselves or act as side dishes to other meals.

Typical recipes-

Turmeric Rice, Garlic and Herb Dal, Paneer Makhani (Indian cottage cheese cubes in a rich, spiced tomato sauce), Aloo Mutter (Potatoes and peas with mustard seeds and curry leaves)

You will do all the cooking in your kitchen as I guide you through every step. Through your laptop or other device, I will be able to be present in your kitchen cooking a delicious meal with you. The recipes will be for 4 people.

I will send the recipes and ingredient preparation list in advance. You will also receive an equipment list so that the class is as smooth as possible and we can focus on the cooking. The prep list will guide you as to what ingredients will need to chopped etc before hand and clear instructions will be given about the size of cut etc. I will send photos of some ingredients and techniques in advance to help you through the preparation process.

In order to conduct the class most efficiently, this will not be a cook along. Instead, I will be looking into your kitchens to guide you through the class.
