Online Make Along: Pavilions, Pop-ups and Temporary Structures
Join RIBA Learning on Saturday 28th November for a free day of online architectural creation. Throughout the day there will be instructive events to sign up for. Artist educators will guide you through one of our popular resources. Each session of the Online Make Along will be using Microsoft Teams, a link we be sent to join each event. The events are free to register. Just be ready with the materials to join in.
2pm-3pm Pavilions, Pop-ups and Temporary Structures with Zoe Allen aimed at 6-12 year olds
Design and build a model of a temporary structure that are not built to last with artist educator Zoe Allen, then have a go yourself at making a tent or a den after the session.
Materials you will need:
- Large white paper for drawing / designing - a few sheets
- Coloured Pens & Pencils
- Newspapers - as many as possible
- Sellotape
- String
- Tin Foil
- Scissors
- Cocktail sticks
- Marshmallows. Mini ones are best. Big ones can be chopped up
Suggested materials for den building after make along:
- Garden Canes
- String
- Sheets / blankets
- Chairs
- Cardboard boxes
Ticket holders will receive a link to a Microsoft Teams event for this session a few hours before. If you would like to attend other sessions in the Online Make Along day please book these individually.
