About this event

We are offering an ONLINE MINDFULNESS DAY RETREAT. They are open to anyone with mindfulness or meditation experience.

What is a Retreat?

A retreat is a silent half-day of mindfulness practice, with guided teaching delivered online by our experienced teacher.

Our Online Day Retreats will offer you the time and space to be with yourself in a guided and supported environment in the comfort of your home.

The retreat will include guided practices, like body awareness and movements. It will offer the possibility of observing the ebb and flow of your experience. And, a chance for you to investigate with curiosity and kindness whatever may be present in mind and body.

You can continue with your retreat experience for the rest of your day at your house, which can be a valuable source of support. Day retreats can revitalise an existing mindfulness practice. They can also, help to reestablish a mindfulness practice after taking a break.

Is a half-day Retreat for you?

The retreat is open to anyone with previous experience in mindfulness or meditation.

Preparing for your half-day retreat

Please be ready between 10:40 and 10:55 a.m. as the retreat will begin at 11 a.m. Make sure your link works and the computer/mobile is plugged in.

Most of the retreat will be in silence, with trainers guiding each practice. There will be time towards the end to speak about your experience of the day.

At lunch, we break for an hour (your instructor will guide you with time to come back)

Make sure your meditation gear is ready with mats, blocks, and blankets.

Have your own water bottle, medicines, and other essentials nearby.

We invite you to approach the retreat as a day of time and space for yourself, so make yourself comfortable with your favourite cushion, shawl/ rug.

There will be time to get your tea/coffee and comfort breaks between the practices.

Please do not read or write (taking notes) during the retreat.

Make sure you are undisturbed at home during the retreat.

How your retreat will go

There will be a welcome at 11 a.m.

We will then have a series of guided mindfulness practices, including mindful walking with a brief pause between practices.

The half-day will end with a transition out of the silence.

The Retreat finishes at 1.30 p.m

“Come, come, whoever you are, wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving, it doesn't matter.

Ours is not a caravan of despair.

Come, even if you have broken your vow a hundred times.

Come, come again, come.”
