Online Mindfulness-Based Sleep Hygiene Course - Stage 1 - Laying Foundations

About this Event

This four week course combines mindfulness techniques with latest research into sleep hygiene to empower participants to make impactful changes and create a healthy sleep routine for themselves. This course will run online (via Zoom) and meet weekly over four weeks. The course will be supported by course materials and worksheets to help audit sleep habits and create new ones.

Online Mindfulness-Based Sleep Hygiene Course - Stage 1 - Laying Foundations Course Overview

Pre-course evaluation and registration (online questionnaire)

Week 1: Start with the Breath - Breath Awareness, Sleep audit, Sleep routines

Week 2: Beditation - Body Awareness, Bodyscan, Sleep Journal, Beditation

Week 3: Give me Sunshine - Awareness of moving body, Mindful Movement and Walking, Daily Routine, Sleep and Wellbeing Journal, Beditation continued

Week 4: Lifestyle Hacks - Awareness of our habits and choices, What can I tweak, what will I keep? Sounds and Thoughts Practice. Sleep audit.

End of course evaluation (online questionnaire).

To get the most from this course you need a good internet connection, access to Zoom, a quiet place to access the online sessions and to practice mindfulness but most of all you need to be ready to make some behavioural changes and be able to follow the course and practise mindfulness everyday during the four week course.
