The opportunity

I'm part of a local business network, meeting weekly via Zoom early on Thursday mornings (when it's safe to we will meet in Rothley, Leicestershire).

I would love to invite you along as my visitor, it will COST YOU NOTHING except an early start!

We're looking for guests not members

There's no pressure to join, but if you think you might be interested there's opportunity to hear more about it in the meeting. We're just happy to have you along as a guest!

What happens in the meeting

With over 30 businesses present each week, it's a great opportunity to share about your own business and what you're looking for. You'll get 45 seconds to share to the rest of the group.

It is a referral network, meaning we each look to pass referrals to each other through our wider networks and connections. Over the last 12 months over £1,000,000 of work has been passed (despite lockdowns and the challenges we're facing). We have a contributions section where we share any referrals we've passed that week.

Each week one of our members shares a feature presentation about their business, who they're looking for in terms of referrals and what triggers we can listen out for to pass referrals to them.

The small print (sort of)

There are some caveats to coming along.

Business category

We operate a category-based membership meaning that only one of each business category can join. For example I am the only web design company in the group - another web design business can't join.

This means that if you have a business which is the same category as an existing member you won't be able to join our group. However, I may be able to point you to other local groups who have that category available.

Your physical location

Location is also a constraint. As we are a local business network and will eventually begin meeting in person again (whenever that might be!) we are looking for visitors in the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire area as the meetings will take place in Rothley, Leicestershire when they start again in person.
