The Northern School of Art welcomes you to take part in our Live Virtual Open Event, providing an insight into what makes us a creative, collaborative and welcoming community.

You will learn why we have an outstanding record of student employability, which is one of the reasons why we are a TEF GOLD institution. You will gain an insight into how we can support you to develop as a successful artist, designer or creative.

What to expect...

Before the Event

1. Register your interest using the eventbrite booking link.

2. We will send you an email closer to the time to with the Live link to take you through to the Live event.

3. We encourage you to research our website in advance Here you will find a wealth of information about our specialist institution and the programmes we offer. Each programme page will give you an overview, module breakdown, showcase of student work, and staff profiles. Also, be sure to check out our usual virtual open day page to listen to videos from staff and students and view some of our industry-standard facilities.

During the Event


You will be given a brief introduction into what makes us a distinctive provider by our Vice Principal (Employability & External Relations)

2. Introducing our Programme Leaders

Our friendly and talented staff will give you a quick introduction into what makes your chosen programme unique.

3. Student Life

Hear from one of our Student Union Reps about life in-and-around our specialist campus.

4.Student Support and Accommodation

Hear about the fantastic support offered to students alongside their studies. Being a close-knit community allows us to get to know students on an individual basis.

5. Q & A

This Live event will culminate with the opportunity to ask our staff and alumni any questions. The Live Q&A Panel is made up of academic staff and other key support staff in student finance, admissions, and careers services.

If you would like to speak to programme staff directly, we can supply you with their contact information on request or arrange for you to speak with them online or on the phone.

We would welcome you to come into the campus in the autumn term to have a look around and get a feel for the place.
