Overview

Hear about the experiences of two of the mentees in this pilot scheme, and input into what comes next!

Two of the five mentees who received support through Adverse Camber’s pilot national mentoring scheme this year will share some of the results of their mentorship at this session, useful for anyone who is considering mentoring or who want to hear more from two emerging and exciting voices.

Olu Oke is a London based multi-disciplinary storyteller, who has been illustrating, printmaking, teaching and writing for over 25 years, adding storytelling to her practice in recent years.

Danielle Free is Shropshire based, and is fascinated with uncovering the voices and stories of historical women. Her first major piece ‘The Conditions for Courage’ was recently part of Oxford Storytelling Festival’s programme.

As we gather feedback and plan next steps, this is also a chance to feed into what future schemes run by Adverse Camber could look like. This session will be facilitated by our Engagement Producer who led on delivery of the Storytelling Pathways programme, Aoife O’Connor.
