Overview

Join us online for an overview of Opiates/Opioids and a look at the impacts on people who use them.

This is an online workshop that has been designed to provide information on Opiates/Opioids, the effect they have on the body and the impact they have on the lives of our service users, as well as providing information that can be used to provide harm reduction for those who use them.

This workshop will be held on teams. Please ensure you include your email to the ticket so that we can you a teams invite you to the event.

A calendar invite will be sent prior to the event upon signup.

It is appropriate for workers from a wide range of agencies, who will or do encounter drug use in the course of their work.

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

Identify the effects of Opioids/Opiates

State the risks of use and dependency

Outline strategies that support harm reduction for those using Opiates/Opioids


All sessions are FREE to professionals working with people using drugs and alcohol in Suffolk.
