Speaker: Richard Lang, Babcock International Group


Join Richard Lang for an insightful and personal presentation on neurodiversity in engineering and to introduce the Institution of Civil Engineers South West Neurodiversity Network. Drawing from his lived experience as an autistic, ADHD, and dyslexic professional, Richard will explore the challenges and strengths of neurodivergent individuals in STEM, the importance of inclusive workplace practices, and the role of allyship in supporting diverse minds. Learn about practical accommodations, the impact of stigma, and how tailored support can unlock potential and improve wellbeing. This session is a must-attend for anyone passionate about creating a more inclusive and understanding professional environment.
