About this event

  • 1 hour

Every 4 weeks, on a Thursday at 4pm.

In the Public Meeting Room at Bristol Central Library (up the stairs/lift from the cafe, by the computer room) and also online. If you sign up to this event, we'll send you the details to join the Zoom call.

A free, fun, informal chat about books, music, TV, films, comics, or whatever you're into. We chat every fortnight; new members are always welcome.

Originally set up with WECIL as part of their Peer Support programme, but now run by Bristol Libraries.

Open to anyone who considers them-selves to be a disabled person or has a chronic illness. Also open to friends, carers and family. (Note that while the emphasis is on peer support, one of the co-facilitators is a non-disabled library worker.)

Each session, we focus on a different theme, such as a genre, which is picked the session before. For this session's theme, see the event heading.

If you would like to find out more about the group, please contact Library Development Officer Paul on 07920536936 or paul.walker@bristol.gov.uk. Feel free to share these details with people you know who you think may be interested.
