UPDATED SERIES FOR 2025!
Are you a professional, practitioner or volunteer who works with young people and families?
Join one of our adapted and shorter online conflict resolution series sessions. 'How to have that difficult conversation (communication)' will highlight how having that difficult conversation can help us strengthen our relationships, build our confidence and resilience, help the other person/s to listen and understand us better, help us learn to manage other difficult situations more compassionately, and make us a better communicator. It will give practical tips on managing a tricky conversation and ways that you can support yourselves and others through them.
Following the session, you will be able to:
- Reflect on having that difficult conversation
- Prepare for having that conversation
- Understand what can make that difficult conversation work and ways to support it
Once you sign up you will recieve a pre-event email a couple of days prior to the event with all the information and joining instructions you will need.
The session will be delivered on the online platform Zoom, by the SCCR trainer. If you book on to the session you will be sent the details on how to join nearer the time to the event when bookings have closed and a full PDF document with all the information you need to know will be emailed to you. This session is at an introductory level and no prior knowledge of the subject is required.
Please note Zoom offers video capability so you can join with your webcam on, but this is entirely up to you and this option can be turned off. However we would love to see your faces and feel it is a more interactive experience with videos on.
