Bringing the latest in Online Safety to your doorstep.

The UK Safer Internet Centre are delighted to partner with Cheshire West and Chester Safeguarding Children Partnership to deliver a FREE Online Safety update in a venue near you. Open to all who work with children and young people, this event will give you the latest in research, legislation, technology, tools and resources along with exclusive access to the presentation and resource materials. Safety online is constantly changing and the purpose of Online Safety Live events is to provide access to this information, right on people’s doorsteps. We understand that everyone is busy and the feedback has been clear that getting time away from work is a challenge – this is why we have organised these events as short briefing sessions. They provide vital information, critically supplemented with access to detailed resources to review later. The team will also be available to answer any of your online safety queries or questions.

Delivered by the team at SWGfL, a charitable trust dedicated to empowering the safe and secure use of technology through innovative services, tools, content and policy, nationally and globally. We are proud to be a world leader in online child safety, a founding member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety as well as an advisor to Governments and a partner in the UK Safer Internet Centre. We have created award winning resources and services that especially help and support professionals working with children and young people.

The Community Centre is situated between Blue Hatch and The Willows towards the bottom of Fluin Lane in Frodsham. For those with Sat Nav the Postcode is WA6 7QN.

From the M56 junction 12 follow the signs for Frodsham. At the traffic lights cross the swing bridge over the River Weaver. You will then be on Sutton Causeway leading to Bridge Lane. Continue for 800 yards passed the zebra crossing and under the pedestrian footbridge then turn left into Fluin lane.

The Community Centre is 200 yards up the hill on the right side of the road in the area on the map between Blue Hatch and The Willows.

There is parking for 89 vehicles including 4 disabled parking spaces.

Organised by

The UK Safer Internet Centre (UKSIC), established in 2011, is a leading global partnership helping to make the internet a great and safe place for everyone.

We provide support and services to children and young people, adults facing online harms, and professionals working with children.

A bridge between Government, industry, law enforcement and society, we are the engine of the online protection landscape in the UK, dealing with both prevention and response.

We are unique. Formed of three charities, Childnet, Internet Watch Foundation and SWGfL, we work together to identify threats and harms online and then create and deliver critical advice, resources, education and interventions that help keep children and young people, and adults, safe. We share our best practices across the UK and globally.
