Online: Seneca Learning -Maths and Wider Curriculum at KS2
Event Information
About this event
Digital Learning Cornwall is the EdTech training department of the Aspire Academy Trust; we are delighted to be working as a demonstrator setting as part of this DfE-backed national support project funded until at least March 2022.
We cut through the hype and jargon to identify and demonstrate technologies that have real impact in primary education.
Seneca Learning is a piece of freely accessible software that allows children to consolidate and revise their learning at Key Stage 2 and above.
The programme taps into recently emphasised concepts such as knowledge retrieval, self-reliance and meta-cognition within a motivating, child-led environment.
Seneca is a useful tool for teachers looking to differentiate and extend within class groups, while providing revision-style learning to help children retain and build knowledge. Maths is a standout element, though other curriculum areas are available as well - some of it for free.
This session will provide a broad overview of how to set up Seneca learning for your class or classes; demonstrate what children will experience as they use the product; and explain some of the analytics options that are available to teachers.
Join this session to find out more about how to integrate the program successfully, including combining.
All sessions are free to attend via the DfE's EdTech Demonstrator Programme. When signing up for training events, attendees from state-maintained educational settings in England are providing consent to be registered in the EdTech Demonstrator Programme.
We will offer a quick, introductory meeting should you wish to take the FREE DfE-funded opportunities further and tailor it to your own school and staff circumstances – we can offer bespoke, in-depth support and CPD tailored to your staff needs. Whilst we specialise in primary pedagogy, our MAT-wide infrastructure knowledge and experience is in many ways applicable to secondary education and certainly to multi-academy trusts.
