Overview

Friendly public speaking group in Manor House. We meet on Zoom (second Wednesday of the month) and in-person (fourth Wednesday of the month)

We are a friendly public speaking group based in Manor House, North East London. We are also an official branch of Toastmasters International, a not-for-profit network which has operated since 1924 and has helped more than 4 million people just like you from around the world to become more confident speakers and leaders. Any UK & Ireland Toastmasters member can attend Manor House Speakers (along with other clubs if they wish), or you can come along to a few our meetings as a guest to get a feel for how we work.

We meet on Zoom on every second Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm and in-person at the Redmond Community Centre on every fourth Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm, enabling people from different backgrounds to attend and to practice both online and in-person presenting.

Our average meeting features a few planned speeches by members, volunteer roles that give members a chance to take the lead in the club, and quick-fire 'table topics' that allow members and guests to practice speaking about topics off-the-cuff. Come along and join us free as a guest to get a taste, or drop us an email if you'd like to find out more (mhspeakers@gmail.com ).
