About this event

Sober Girl Society Virtual Club is an online meet-up for sober and sober curious women hosted every Tuesday evening and Saturday morning.

Need to know: Virtual Club is a 1-hour informal Zoom call led by one of our experienced hosts where you can meet like-minded women, chat about any problems you’re facing and celebrate your weekly wins.

Please note: This is a peer-support call and whilst our host has brief intervention and onward referral training, this is not a substitute for professional or medical help.

Pricing structure: To run these clubs, we need to pay for the time of our staff and generate enough income to sustain the SGS platform BUT we understand times are especially hard right now. Because of this, we've introduced a tiered pricing structure ranging from no income to high income. There are a set amount of tickets for each so please be kind and leave the lower income tickets for those who need them. We operate a no-refund policy.

Call details: Details of the calls can be found on the Eventbrite Online Event page.

Meet your hosts:

Laurie McAllister: Laurie is 7 years alcohol-free, after stopping drinking at 25. She’s a trained sober coach, founder of the blog Girl & Tonic and works full time in marketing. PA to a miniature daschund Margot and a keen yogi, Laurie brings “big sister energy” to calls and is here to support the SGS community in their sober and sober curious journeys.

Yasmin Spark: Yasmin has been sober since 2016 and is here to empower and inspire you with her vibrant, booze-free journey. She's the creative genius behind Align Events, transforming the party scene with chic, non-alcoholic cocktails. Yasmin's mission? To ensure everyone feels included and celebrated, proving that our fun doesn't need a proof.

Katie Scrafton changed her life at 30 after becoming sober curious and leaving binge drinking behind. After working in media in London she moved to the North East coast and trained as a life coach. She runs a sea dipping community called Dip Club which focuses on natural highs and and socialising outside of alcohol. She is looking forward to welcoming you to the wonderful SGS community 💕
