What is somatic breathwork?

It is a therapeutic technique, known as conscious connected breathwork. Either through the nose, or through the mouth, the inhale is connected with the exhale to stimulate the nervous system in a safe and intention way.

What is a breathwork circle?

It’s a safe space, where we land bi-monthly in community to use the breath as a tool for healing. We begin by introducing the theme, explaining the breathwork, you will then lie down and follow the rhythm of the music with your breath. integration with optional shares at the end.

What benefits can I expect from the session?

Accepted Answer

A natural built resiliency within your nervous system, deeper connection with yourself and your body; a healthy outlet for ‘difficult emotions’ such as anger, resentment, bitterness; connection with a like-minded compassionate community; space held for you to feel whatever it is you need to feel.

Is any prior experience with breathwork or meditation necessary?

Accepted Answer

All levels of experience are welcome, the whole process will be explained on the day. You will be given ways to deepen or soften your experience with the breath, depending on where you are on your journey.

Question 5

I have one of the contraindications, can I still join?

Accepted Answer

Everyone is welcome in this space, whatever you are navigating. Conscious connected breathing won’t be suitable for everyone, so a different style of breathing will be provided for you. In this case, please inform Jasmine on the day.

Question 6

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

We suggest wearing loose, comfortable clothing, with space around your belly, ribs, and chest.

I cannot make the live, will I be able to catch up on the replay?

Accepted Answer

It is great if you can join the live event, but don't worry if you cannot. The replay is available for an additional week and you will receive this after the event.
