This month in the Conversation Club, we will discuss the growing crisis of unaffordable housing for young people, where rental and purchase prices are rising much faster than wages. We will analyse the causes, such as property speculation, lack of affordable housing and stagnating wages. We will also discuss possible solutions, such as public policies to regulate rents, encourage the construction of affordable housing and improve job stability for young people. The aim is to reflect on the consequences of this crisis and explore options for improving access to housing in the future. We will try to make the conversation useful for understanding a problem that affects many young people today.
