Online Special Edition of Data Ethics Club
About this event
This event is a special edition of Data Ethics Club; a reading list and fortnightly discussion group designed to provoke discussion about ethical applications of, and processes for, data science.
We invite anyone attending Bristol Data Week to join us for a 1-hour discussion about data ethics. We will show a short video, and then discuss the text.
Data Ethics Club is proud to welcome anyone with an interest in the topic, no matter your background, specialism or level of expertise. We love to have a variety of attendees, who might be philosophers, sociologists, working in companies or doing their own research.
You will:
- Find out more about a specific area of data ethics,
- Have a chance to discuss this with a varied group of people,
- Meet others with an interest in data ethics from a range of disciplines.
Find out more on the Data Ethics Club website.
Followed by an optional social from 17:00.
