(Online Students) How to access library facilities and resources

Our ‘How to’ online Q&A sessions are a great way to find out 'how-to-do' some of the tasks that will help you to prepare for university.

This session will provide an introduction to the library, how to access resources and the library services available for all students. We will also cover where the libraries are, when they are open and how to borrow books.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to use a camera and microphone to join the session?

You will not be asked to use your microphone or camera in any session, and you can type your questions for the presenter using the chat function. 

What if I experience technical issues?

The presenter will run through a quick audio check at the start of the session and if you experience any issues, please use the chat function to ask for help. 

What if I can’t go to the session?

All of the sessions will be recorded and captioned in case you miss anything or want to revisit the content. The recordings will be available on our Website by Friday 1st August.
