2-day class: introduction to traditional Chinese art. We'll talk about various forms of art - Chinese brush painting, calligraphy, and more.

About this Event

Would you like to know more about traditional Chinese art? Are you curious about the differences between Chinese and Western concepts of aesthetics?

Or do you simply want to understand the history and background of one of the world’s oldest cultures a little bit better?

We designed this specifically for someone who's curious, interested in different cultures, and who wants to broaden their horizons - like you. Siyuan Ren, Founder of The Peony Girl - creator of many fine art painting, interior designer and host of online workshops, will introduce you to the world of traditional Chinese art.

All the times listed are GMT, which makes convenient for participants from both Europe and the Americas to join.

We will talk about different forms of art, such as Chinese brush painting, calligraphy, kung fu, carving, poetry, ceramics, and many more. We will also cover the basics of Chinese philosophy, which can help in better understanding Chinese aesthetics.
