I cannot attend the whole two days. Can I still attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! I would highly recommend that you attend the first two sessions (Managing your project, and Managing task), as the remainder of the training will build on these. The other four sessions are more modular, and while they still interconnect, it's not too serious if you miss them.

Question 2

I am already in the second (third, fourth) year of my PhD. Is the training still going to be useful?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The course is recommended to attend for students in the first three months of their PhD, but it will still be useful in later stages. The further along you are, the more of planning we will discuss you will already have dealt with - but it's never too late to develop a (more) solid plan!

Question 3

I work on my PhD part-time. Is this the right training for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I actually think it is going to be more useful for part-time students, because you have to balance more and more different tasks simultaneously, all of which makes it even more important to plan ahead properly.
