Actions and Notifications
The Actions and Notifications section of CCMS lets us keep in touch with our Providers and our Counsel members. We will send you important information relating to your cases and applications as notifications and we will ask you to carry out activity on your cases and applications by asking you to complete actions.
This module has been designed to introduce you to this section of CCMS. You will learn how to access the section, how to respond to actions and notifications and how to search for old actions and notifications in CCMS.
Uploading and sending electronic evidence
Providing evidence to the LAA in support of legal aid applications remains as important as ever. Our casework teams can’t process your applications and bills until we receive any evidence we need. This class will ensure you know when and how to upload documents to our system after sending an application or bill.
It is now possible to upload documents with your applications when using the upgraded version of CCMS. We look at how to do this as well as some of the less commonly used methods of sending us documents, such as via the postal route, or in support of appeals and complaints.
The Legal Aid Agency (LAA) is introducing online ways of working for civil and family certificated legal aid work, involving the creation of a new system for providers and counsel.
This is the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) and all new cases will be managed through this system
