Join me for a creative afternoon of bookbinding in my virtual studio and get to grips with Buttonhole Binding (my favourite) . . .

In this workshop we'll use card, fabric and leather remnants to create a sturdy journal with exposed spines and knotted binding. This is one of my favourite bookbinding methods and I can't wait to share it with you! I'll provide everything you need to make an A6 hardback book, with lots of opportunity to add your own personal touches.

The white paper I provide for the bulk of your book is my 'go to' Flat White paper from Artway - great for watercolour and sketching aswell as general note-taking.

** Due to the current situation with Covid 19 this workshop will be delivered remotely - upon placing an order, you will receive a bookbinding kit, which includes all the tools and materials you need (minus a cutting mat and pair of scissors) to made an A6 book with Buttonhole Binding, plus exclusive access to my online video tutorial and an invite to join my virtual classroom.

Kits will be posted out asap and you will receive a link to my private video tutorial via email on the morning of 7 April, along with login details for my virtual classroom, which I will be monitoring from 1-4pm to answer any questions / help if you get stuck and give you a virtual high five for completing your book!

This workshop is suitable for children that are comfortable with a needle and thread, so if you have found yourself homeschooling, this could be a great project to work on together!
