London is constantly on the move. There is so much change all around us that we scarcely notice it, but among the areas that are vanished and forgotten are some of London’s most famous - and infamous - neighbourhoods. Tom Bolton’s book – Vanished City: London’s Lost Neighbourhoods - looks at ten places, which for different reasons, have disappeared from the map.
