Event description
This is an online anxiety and mental well being workshop hosted by a trained facilitator from CNWL Hillingdon Talking Therapies Service.

About this Event

The last few months has been a challenging time for everyone and has affected people in many different ways. Now more than ever it’s important to take control and look after our mental wellbeing, particularly as we move into winter months.

Your local practice have teamed up with MyHealth (www.myhealthhillingdon.nhs.uk) and CNWL Talking Therapies Service Hillingdon (talkingtherapies.cnwl.nhs.uk) to offer you this online Wellbeing Workshop.

They will be talking you through ways of understanding and managing anxiety, stress and low mood, as well as letting you know about services in the area and sources of support.

The session will be held through zoom and run for approximately 1.5 hours

During the session you will have a chance to ask questions and learn how to:

- Recognising symptoms of anxiety, low mood and stress and what affects our moods

- Introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) ideas to help with mood

- Tips for keeping well during difficult times such as the pandemic

- Brief relaxation practice

- Suggestions of resources for further support
