Online Workshop: Developing Healthy Speak Up Cultures
Overview
PLEASE NOTE this is for HPMA members only
This session is for HPMA members who are HR & OD Practitioners
Summary: Whistleblowers are still reporting to NHS England that although they have spoken up in their organisation, it has made no difference. Much progress has been made in organisations to create psychologically safe spaces for workers, so what’s happening? How can HR professionals continue to develop healthy speak up cultures?
Aim: The aim of this workshop is for HR and OD practitioners to bring their skills and knowledge together to explore good practices to enable healthy speak up cultures. It will examine the synergies and challenges between HR and speaking up processes and develop greater collaboration, transparency and trust.
By the end of the session you will:
- Examine responding to policy whilst ensuring inclusion and belonging
- Owning up to your fears and challenges
- The power bases of HR
- Principles for building collaboration, transparency and trust
- Valuing speaking up and seeing the bigger picture
- Action planning and sustainability
