Join Anne on this online, live, workshop using Zoom to connect with Anne and other liked minded people who enjoy hand embroidery.

Spend the day with Anne where she will talk you through, alongside demonstrating, the process of creating your own mini hanging. Anne will introduce you to a range of hand embroidery techniques, embellishments and other techniques. It is suitable for any level of embroiderer whether you are starting out or want a focus to combine known techniques and possibly be introduced to new ones.

As this is an online workshop you will be using items from your own stash and you will need to choose a colour theme to work in.

Other materials you will need:-

• Something to hang your piece from (Drift wood, bobbin, dowel or even a frame) This will determine the size of the piece, so if you want to finish it in a day, don't make it too big.
• Backing fabric (wadding or an old blanket is ideal)
• Selection of fabric, lace, ribbon etc.
• Scissors, pins and needles.
• Embroidery threads in coordinating colours (Perle, DMC and other threads)
• Any embellishments you may want to add to your piece.
