This session is aimed at Bands 3-6 in the Emerging Workforce Leaders category.

Summary: Don’t be frightened of data – it can be your friend. If you want to understand how you can use data in an exciting way, bringing it to life and improving your own influencing skills, then this is the session for you.

Aim: Using organisational people performance indicators and broader workforce data to analyse situations, inform actions and enable continuous improvement.

Objectives: To understand how to read and analyse their own organisation’s workforce reports.

Understand the importance of story-telling in bringing data to life.

To understand the importance of, and be able to use, evidence-based practice.

Delegates will leave the session with a good understanding of how they can use evidence-based practice in their work, not be afraid of asking for and using data to identify improvement activities and be clear how to effectively measure performance and value.

Prework: Delegates should access and review their monthly workforce intelligence reports, bringing the latest report to the session to discuss in group work.
