Event description
A 2-hour online workshop to learn the tricks of how to make sure you make the most of the writing time you have, and keep your motivation.

About this Event

This 2-hour online workshop will teach you in a practical way how to make sure you make the most of the writing time you have, and keep your motivation.

Your tutor will be William Gallagher.

It doesn’t matter that you didn’t write yesterday. It doesn’t matter that you haven’t touched your book in a year. All that matters is today, tomorrow, and what you can write now.

This is not about making you somehow write faster, but it is about getting you writing –– and showing you how to make more time to write. See what’s holding you back or holding you up, and then find out how to juggle everything.

You’ll learn how to treat your writing, your other work and your home life so that at those times when you’re at your most creative, you can focus on the writing you need to do.

This workshop shows you how to take your writing seriously and get more written.

William Gallagher has been teaching creative productivity to writers, authors, musicians, actors and journalists for over five years. He’s the author of 18 books including ones for the British Film Institute and Radio Times, plus four best-selling technology titles and many Doctor Who audio dramas.

The workshop will take place online via Zoom Online Meeting software. It is free to download and you will only need the free version to attend. Please download it and check it is working before the day of the workshop.

William will be "hosting" the meeting, and will be online 15 minutes before the advertised start time to allow you to join and test your audio and video is working as it should.

Please try and be somewhere you can concentrate and won't be interrupted. Headphones can be useful if you have some, to cut out other noise.

The meeting host will mute all mics and switch them on for general discussion, asking participants to raise their hand to speak - online meetings make it much harder to see if someone wants to speak.
