'Only the Lonely' Join Director, Clare Holman, for viewing with Q&A session
Overview
Only the Lonely is a short film written by Veronique Christie and Elaine Spires, directed by Clare Holman (Lewis, King and Conqueror).
The film is a powerful exploration of the effects of isolation, alienation and how our prejudices are often rooted in fear.
Whilst Elspeth pines for George and grapples with her own loneliness, she struggles to embrace her ever changing surroundings and neighbours. But sometimes, just a little kindness proves to go a long way.
Clare will accompany the viewing and talk about her transition into directing, writing and photography. She would love to engage you in a lively Q&A session where you might leave feeling inspired, disturbed or motivated!
Don't worry if you miss this special session. You will be able to view the film at any time during the exhibition in a small dedicated area within the gallery. Although Clare won't be there, other artists will be available.
