Special 10th Anniversary screening of “ON/OFF: MARK STEWART POP GROUP TO MAFFIA” (d. Toni Schifer, 2009)
8.30 pm at the Palace Cinema, Broadstairs

Filmed over three years, “On/Off” mixes live footage, archive clips and interviews with Mark Stewart, the people who know and worked with him, (including two Ramsgate residents), and the people who were hugely influenced by it. This portrait of a true innovator is a must for fans of Mark Stewart and music fans in general.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Mark Stewart, director Toni Schifer and author and DJ legend, Dave Haslam.
“On/Off/After” is the after party at The Ramsgate Music Hall where you will have the rare opportunity of seeing Mark Stewart DJ. His eclectic tastes and knowledge of music combined with his pioneering grasp of sonics proves to be a night you’d be wrong to miss.
