Event description

Description

Are you a foreign-born woman willing to reach opportunities that match your experience and education?

We know it’s hard to succeed in London without a professional looking CV. Hiring managers don’t have the time to try to understand wordy descriptions and confusing layouts. They typically spend about 6 seconds before they make their decision.

A strong CV creates the basis for a solid interview and a successful interview can lead to a new job and a major shift in your current circumstances.

Every year we support women like you, foreign-born women, who intend to change jobs, restart your home career in the UK, or grow in your current job. Our CV course's content was carefully crafted knowing that you may be:

  • educated outside of the UK and find it difficult to translate concisely your achievements;

  • struggling with addressing a longer career gap, survival jobs and telling your story effectively;

  • unaware of the UK current best-practice and unfamiliar with Applicant Tracking Systems.

Our intention is for you to walk out of the session with a solid document that you will be truly proud of.

Please note this interactive workshop is intended for foreign-born women who have already completed our FREE CV e-Learning course, wish to address any outstanding questions and receive personalised feedback from one of our mentors on the day. If you haven't completed the course and downloaded our supporting documents yet, you can access them instantly by signing up via our homepage here.
