About ‘Popronde’:
Popronde is a nationwide traveling festival held every fall from September to November in around 40 cities across the Netherlands. From Leeuwarden to Middelburg, Venlo to Alkmaar, and Deventer to The Hague, Popronde takes place each weekend from Thursday to Sunday. In every city, selected acts perform at about twenty different venues—ranging from cafés and galleries to theaters, record stores, churches, clubs, and pop stages. For one night, the city center transforms into a showcase for the next generation of pop musicians.
