Out of Schools Information Sessions - Safeguarding and Welfare Reforms Update
For: Early Years and Childcare registered Out of School Settings.
Live Training Event - Wednesday 1 October 2025 from 10.00am - 11.30am
Out Of School Information Session
These sessions will be a rolling programme of information over a 12-month period delivered online by either the Childcare Sufficiency and Development Team or a guest speaker.
Each session will have a different focus.
The sessions are useful in sharing good practice with other Out of School providers who may have similar experiences.
Workshop Details:
This is an opportunity for Out of School team members to be aware of their roles and responsibilities in ensuring children are safeguarded.
Aims of the workshop:
- Knowledge and understanding of the new EYFS
- Awareness of the new safeguarding reforms
- Understanding of the changes to safeguarding training requirements
- How to implement changes to the safeguarding and welfare requirements within your policies and procedures
