Out of Schools Information Sessions - Staff mental health and wellbeing
For: Early Years and Childcare registered Out of School Settings.
Live Training Event - Wednesday 3 December 2025 from 10.00am - 11.30am
Out Of School Information Session
These sessions will be a rolling programme of information over a 12-month period delivered online by either the Childcare Sufficiency and Development Team or a guest speaker.
Each session will have a different focus.
The sessions are useful in sharing good practice with other Out of School providers who may have similar experiences.
Workshop Details:
This is an opportunity to discuss, share and explore what staff mental health and well-being is and how you can support them within your out of school provision.
Aims
- Consider the importance of staff’s mental health and wellbeing
- Unpacking your stress container
- Explore what stress is
- Recognise signs of distress
- Explore different coping strategies
- How can we build a positive culture around mental health and well-being.
We have a guest speaker called Mandy Baughurst, who will be sharing further information about what stress is and strategies to support your staff with the group during this session.
