OPAL OPEN DAY - WALTER HALLS PRIMARY SCHOOL
Welcome to our Opal Open Day at Walter Halls Primary and Early Years School! We are an inner-city school with diverse needs and launched OPAL back in November of this year. Although we still have lots to do, we can already see the impact that OPAL is having on our children's capacity to play effectively at lunchtime and the positive impact that is having on behaviour. If you are a school leader who is interested in how to get started with this project then come along to our open day and see it happening in action, chat to our play leaders and get some 'top tips' for how to get this going in your own school. This is one of the best investments you will ever make in improving lunchtimes, play literacy for all children (not just your EYFS!) as well as feeling the benefits of more effective afternoon learning behaviours.
