Event description

Open Day at City of Westminster College / Monday 10th October 2016

Thank you for your interest in attending our Open Day.

Our Open Days are designed to enable you to experience first-hand what it is like to study with us. During the event you can attend subject area talks, take a tour of our campus and meet with our friendly teams of staff and students.

We are situated in the heart of central London; just 5 minutes away from Edgware Road Underground Station and 10 mins from Oxford Street. You can also reach us on London Buses, numbers 6, 16, 18, 98, 332, 414 and by rail at both Paddington and Marylebone Rail Stations, which are only a short walk away.

Outline of the Day

Doors will open and check-in will begin at 3.45pm. If you are early and arrive before this time, you can grab a coffee in our onsite Costa.

Once you have checked in at reception you will be ushered into our theatre for your booked session for half an hour. After this you can visit members of staff around our building or talk to our admissions team or tour the facilities on offer at this campus. Talks will take place every 30mins, the first session begins at 4pm and the last session will begin at 6.30pm. Last admittance into the building will be at 7.00pm to allow attendees enough time to see members of staff.

Prospective students may attend the event with family or a friend - however due to limited space on the talks, guests may be invited to use our refreshment services.  We therefore advise guests to bring a book, magazine or electronic entertainment to make best use of their time between sessions.

We hope that you enjoy your visit.

Once registered on this web link please keep checking our City of Westminster College website Open Events page for updates:

* Please note under 16s are invited up to our 6.00pm sessions. Prospective students signing up to sessions after 6.00pm who are under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and ideally parent/carer or guardian to attend events at City of Westminster College.

How do I register for an Open Day?
For all of our courses, please select the time that is right for you from the ticket options. To attend our Open Day you MUST select one of these options and book a ticket.

Do I need to book a place?
Yes, we have a limited number of spaces available for each Open Day and so all visitors must pre-register and book a ticket.

Why can I only book one ticket for each session, I would like to book for my friends as well?
Due to space limitations and Health & Safety we require each attendee to book a place. If you want to bring friends or family, they will need to book an individual place for themselves. You can also book a place for them with their email address.

Do I need to book a place for my parent(s) or guardian(s)?
There is no need to book an additional for any parents or guardians who will be accompanying you to the Open Day. However, due to limited space, they may not be able to attend our talks without a ticket. If they do wish to attend a talk, they will need to book a ticket (you can do this for them).

Do I need to bring written confirmation of my booking with me?
Yes, your registration will be recorded on our system; however, and so, having a ticket will quicken the check-in process - this can be printed or displayed on your smartphone or handheld device.

I want to change/cancel the session I registered for?
On EventBrite, use the log-in details you entered when you registered for our Open Day. From there you will be able to amend your tickets and change your session or cancel your booking.

What time do I need to arrive?
The first talk starts at 4pm and the last talk starts at 6.30pm. There are scheduled talks every half hour between 4pm and 6.30pm for all of our courses - please arrive at least 15 minutes before your chosen talk in order to check in.
