Meet at the Open Day Tours desk in the Great Circle, just off the Central Avenue and a short walk from the Chapel.

How much does the tour cost?

The tour is £5 per person, plus the Eventbrite booking fee

Will there be tickets for sale on the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there will be tickets available on the day at the Open Day Tours Desk in the Great Circle, for payment by cash or card, but we cannot guarantee availability for a particular time slot.  Please note that in the event of bad weather, tickets will be sold in the Chapel.

Are there cafe and toilet facilities?

Yes, there are public toilets available in the Cafe, opposite the North Lodge Information Centre on Old Brompton Road, which sells drinks and light snacks. The Chapel also has public toilets and will be open for the Open Day.

How accessible is the tour?

The tour involves 17 shallow steps, uneven surfaces, and, unsurprisingly, underground spaces. It is not open to under 12s. Groups are limited to 20 people to ensure the comfort and safety of each group.

Is there car parking?

No car parking at the Cemetery but you can consult Parkopedia. Blue Badge holders may apply for short-term parking by writeing to events@brompton-cemetery.org.uk as described above.

Who are the Friends of Brompton Cemetery?

The Friends of Brompton Cemetery work to preserve & promote the Cemetery as an historic site with a modern role. We help to maintain the cemetery's buildings, monuments & landscape, & encourage its use by the community. We offer guided tours, an Information Centre and other events.
