Jay Bolton is a new member the Courtyard team providing the very latest Bowen Fascial Release Technique as taught by the European College of Bowen Studies.
Jay is a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) who trained as a Bowen Technique practitioner after having experienced its healing touch for himself.
Bowen Fascial Release Technique aims to rebalance the whole person by applying small rolling type moves over anatomically precise areas using fingers and thumbs. During a session the practitioner will periodically leave the client, so that their body can absorb, respond and adjust to the gentle moves. Clients typically experience the session as one of deep relaxation, increased body awareness and reduced pain. A full treatment usually consists of 3 sessions of 45 minutes each, but adjustments can happen with just one session.
Jay has a fully holistic approach to health care, being not just concerned with the treating of unpleasant symptoms but with rebalancing the whole body. Jay will undertake specific assessments that will enhance your understanding of how discomfort presents in your everyday life and strategies to avoid future discomfort.
