Open Day Halls of Residence Tours
Wed 26 April 2017, 16:30 – 17:00 BST
Thinking of staying in Halls? Then join us for a trip to see two of our centrally located Halls of Residences: Meadowside Halls and Victoria Chambers. With both en-suite and standard rooms to view, this tour will give you an idea of what we have on offer. These two city centre accommodations are popular choices amongst our students who like central living, within easy walking distance of the campus.
Groups will leave the main campus every 30 minutes to make the very short walk to Meadowside Halls and Victoria Chambers, where you will be able to have a look around some of our rooms and have the opportunity to chat with a Residences Officer. Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
Due to the high numbers expected to attend, and to ensure all potential students have an opportunity to view the accommodation, each applicant will only be able to reserve a total of 2 tickets (1 for themselves and 1 other).
Can I order more than 2 tickets - both my parents would like to come along?
We appreciate that your family may also wish to see the accommodation, but we have to ensure as many potential students as possible get a chance to see the accommodation. Restricting tickets to one applicant and one guest allows more applicants an opportunity to book a place. We have also set a maximum goup size of 16 so groups can move around freely.
Please notify us if you have any additional guests with you. If the tour is fully booked then they can wait for you at the main campus reception, the Student Centre, or Aroma coffee shop. If spaces do become available, then we can try to accommodate them on the tour.
A Residence Officer will be checking everyone in when they arrive.
Are other halls available to view?
Meadowsideand Victoria Chambers are the only Halls of Residence available to view. You may wish to see Parker House, which is a privately run residence. They have a show flat available which everyone is welcome to visit.
