Description

The Open Day for the Photography Professional Practice and Academic Portfolio Course is a great opportunity for you to find out more about this exciting course at Central Saint Martins.

About the Photography PPA Portfolio Course
The one-year Photography PPA Portfolio Course will enhance your knowledge of photography through the understanding of professional processes and skills through technical workshops. Carefully constructed projects will support you to build an original and personally tailored photography portfolio and research proposal for application to BA or MA.

During the course you will develop your photographic techniques and creative practice through projects and lectures covering subjects including the history and theory of photography, studio skills, research skills, analogue darkroom skills, SLR, medium and large format cameras, alternative processes, digital workflow, printing, scanning and colour management

This is a fine art photography course and focuses on developing your ability to respond creatively to a brief, as well as supporting your practice to flourish in a professional context. Many students go directly into professional practice and postgraduate study from this course.

Between 2012-2015, 100% of Photography Professional Practice and Academic Portfolio Course students who applied for to UAL, successfully gained a place.
