About this event

Open Days

Visit our campus and get a feel for Student Life at one of our Open Days.

Speak with lecturers and current students, visit your department, find out more about our accommodation and the support available to students, and explore our facilities by attending these in-person events. These Open Days will offer a full programme of talks from every department, the opportunity for campus tours, and the chance to find out everything you need to know about Royal Holloway.

The events will be split by ‘theme’, meaning that you will really get the chance to explore in your own time and find out more about your subject of interest. Just book for the day your subject is represented to get the full experience of life as a Royal Holloway student.

Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences courses:

Saturday 26 February and Sunday 20 March 2022

For students interested in courses taught by the Departments of: Classics, Criminology, Drama, Theatre and Dance, Economics, English, History, Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Law, Media Arts, Music, Philosophy, Politics and International Relations or Social Sciences.

Business, Management and Science Courses:

Sunday 27 February and Saturday 19 March 2022

For students interested in courses taught by the Departments of: Biological Sciences, Business and Management, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Electronic Engineering, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology.

These events have been planned with the Health and Safety of students and guests as a priority, and so there will be some precautions in place. We are asking for prospective students to bring no more than two guests in order to reduce the number of people on campus. Our staff and students will be wearing face coverings whilst inside buildings and we will require that all visitors do the same (unless medically exempt). We are also asking all visitors to do a lateral flow test prior to travelling to campus- please do not come to campus if this is positive.

The event will also allow for social distancing as much as possible. In light of this, many of our lecture theatres will have reduced capacity, and so for talks and presentations we will only be able to accommodate the prospective student and one guest. There will be plenty of alternative activities taking place on campus for any additional guests while they wait.

Please contact us with any questions at campus-tours@royalholloway.ac.uk or call +44 (0)1784 414112.
