Schools are full of connections, hopes and dreams. In 2016, after 128 years of educating island children Sherkin Island National School closed its doors for the last time. The Community want to keep the school building as a place of connections and life for future generations. The school building will be for the community, diaspora and our friends, to use as The Neart Hub.
