University College Isle of Man (UCM) is hosting its annual Open Evening on Thursday 20th November 2025, from 4pm to 7pm, at the Homefield Road Campus in Douglas.

This event offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the wide variety of courses available at UCM, take a look around the learning environments and professional-standard facilities, and learn more about the support services on offer.

Academic staff from all departments will be available to talk through the different study options, including:

  • School Links programmes for students aged 14–16
  • 16+ (Further Education) courses for post-GCSE learners and adults looking to retrain
  • Apprenticeships that combine earning with learning
  • University Centre (Higher Education) including undergraduate, nursing and postgraduate degrees
  • Adult Learning for personal (Just for Fun) or professional development (Upskilling)

Jesamine Kelly, UCM Principal, said: “Our Open Evening is a brilliant chance for anyone thinking about their next steps to see what UCM has to offer. Whether you're a school leaver, someone looking to upskill, or just curious about our expanding course options, we’d love you to pop in and explore our Campus.”

Visitors will also be able to speak with the Student Services and Admissions teams for advice and guidance, and the Student Awards team will be on hand to discuss funding and financial support.

For those with additional learning needs, the Access to Education team will be available to explain the support available to ensure every learner can thrive.

Anyone interested in Engineering or Motor Vehicle studies will have the chance to tour the William Kennish building, located close to the Homefield Road Campus, which features factory-standard equipment and a fully functioning vehicle workshop.

There will also be interactive activities throughout the evening to give visitors a taste of life at UCM.
