During the Zoom session, you’ll meet staff who will welcome you and introduce you to the College and to the Certificate programme. You’ll be able to ask questions as well as taking part in a 15-minute sample lecture.

Two of our current students - will be on hand to answer your questions and give you the student view.

We’ll also invite you to book individual online meetings after the open event, where you can discuss your study and research interests in more detail.

About the St Augustine’s Certificate in Theology, Ministry and Mission:

St Augustine’s offers this pathway for people new to the study of theology, it introduces you to theology with modules placing particular emphasis on the core beliefs and practices of Christian faith.

Sometimes students in a diocesan programme choose to study with us as part of their discernment process. This allows you to explore your motivation and aptitude for theological study.

As well as covering all the traditional theological disciplines, the programme provides you with opportunities to develop your skills in theological reflection, and learn a faith-based perspective on every aspect of daily life.

Blended Study For those who want to have the flexibility of mixing study at home and onsite, we offer a programme of blended study.

ONLINE study If you wish to study our certificate but cannot easily come to one of our campuses, we now offer the option of studying online (except for in person attendance at the induction day and 2 Saturday study days). Students registered for the online programme are not charged site fees £100 pa).
