About this event

An opportunity to visit St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School and experience a truly outstanding curriculum built around authentic projects and innovative learning environments.  Join award-winning teacher Jonathan Lear as he explores how the Guerrilla Curriculum has transformed learning and created a culture where all children are committed to producing beautiful work.

The morning session is an opportunity to spend time in classrooms to see how our curriculum works, and also the chance to speak to children, staff and members of the leadership team.

If you’d like to make a day of it, we can offer an add-on curriculum workshop that will uncover the thinking behind our curriculum model. This afternoon session is an opportunity to explore how immersive concept-based learning, authentic outcomes and incredible experiences enable young people to develop their knowledge and skills whilst growing into passionate, empowered, independent and creative thinkers.  All delegates attending the afternoon workshop will receive a copy of Jonathan Lear's latest best selling book 'The Monkey-Proof Box: Curriculum design for building knowledge, developing creative thinking and promoting independence', plus sample curriculum resources.

This event is aimed at teachers, school leaders and anyone with an interest in curriculum design and development.
