As part of Spotlight Open House, agent Kate Staddon from Curtis Brown and casting assistant Beatrice Ray will be hosting a Q&A at Diorama Arts Centre.

This is the perfect opportunity to get clued up on how to approach and interact with casting directors, ask any questions you might have about the audition process, and discover the ways in which you can make the most out of the relationship with your agent.

About Kate

Kate Staddon trained as a set and costume designer and worked on television, commercials and theatre productions before becoming an Agent. Since moving to Curtis Brown in 2002, Kate has established her own list of actors working in theatre, film and television both in the UK and internationally.

About Beatrice

Beatrice joined Jane Ripley casting in 2012. She has co-cast numerous productions for BBC Comedy including Crims, Our Ex-wife, Coopers V. The Rest, This Country and Limbo. She also worked with Jane on the BAFTA nominated and RTS award winning My Mad Fat Diary and, most recently E4’s hit series Chewing Gum.

Projects in 2016 included Loaded, a new 8 x 45 minute comedy/drama series for Channel 4 and AMC, Kiss Me First - a major new drama series for E4/Netflix and Clique - an 8 part drama series for the BBC.
