Event description

Description

A limited number of guided building tours of the Francis Crick Institute are available to book during Open House on Saturday 16 September 2017.

Please note that this booking is only to reserve a timed slot on one of our building tours. There is no need to book in advance to visit the Crick's public spaces during Open House. You are welcome to drop in anytime between 10.00-17.00 on Saturday 16 September to visit our Gallery, cafe and free exhibition Open for Discovery and speak to our friendly staff.

The Francis Crick Institute is housed in a striking new building designed by architects HOK with PLP Architecture. This new, world-class, interdisciplinary biomedical research centre occupies a distinctive steel, glass and terracotta-clad building in the heart of Kings Cross in central London. Its innovative design fosters scientific collaboration between the researchers working within the labs, and engagement with public audiences through exhibitions and events in the Crick's public spaces.

Please note: We regret that we cannot accommodate under 16s on our tours due to health and safety restrictions.

This event is part of Open House London, the capital's largest annual festival of architecture and design.
